DJ Fortune
Born and raised in England, Fortune got hooked on electronic music during the eruption of rave culture in the late 80s and early 90s. She moved to California in 1993, right as Dr. Dre dropped the Chronic and sought out her hip-hop education. In 1999 she started djing playing mostly hip-hop. 2 months later she played her first gig and soon had residencies at underground Milwaukee hip-hop establishments Mars Hotel and Quarters. She developed her style to include house, breaks and techno and went on to play almost every venue that Milwaukee had to offer, from Dish to Thai Joes, Three to Fly Bar, as well as playing venues in Chicago and Madison.
Her achievements include winning the Triple Threat DJ Battle in 2003; being the featured Info DJ in 2004; founding LadyBeats, a monthly event promoting the female DJ as normal, not novelty; founding and running For U Events and For U DJ Collective, which currently holds down 3 weekly events and 2 monthly’s in the city of Milwaukee. Her residencies have allowed her to play alongside numerous djs but the highlight of her DJ experience so far, was visiting Qbert at his home in San Francisco and scratching with him and Flare at the Octagon.
Fortunes’ main mission however, will always be to make people happy. “Some dj for the buzz of controlling the crowd, some for glory, others for the creativity. Since I was a child I have always been moved by music; providing the medium that brings that same enjoyment to others, making them smile, dance or just close their eyes for a moment, is what really fulfills me.”
KRISTINA SKY
Kristina Sky discovered Dance Music at the age of 16 when she began attending underground parties in L.A. It wasn't very long before she went from attending these events, to organizing and throwing them. Sky threw commercial and underground events from the age of 16-22. Her events took her following all over Southern California from Santa Barbara to L.A. to San Bernardino to the Mojave Desert. After years of throwing parties, managing local DJs and being a dance music lover, Kristina Sky realized that she wanted to start becoming a DJ instead of just booking and managing them! Kristina got a pair of old decks from her boyfriend, started collecting vinyl and the rest is history.
In early 2002, Kristina Sky was booked to play her first event and the response was great.
Since then Kristina Sky has been pounding her style of euphoric, melodic, driving progressive and epic trance into the heads of Trance Lovers all over the world.
She held her residency at Club Heaven, Hollywood since a month after it opened in early 2004 and has played alongside some of the greatest and biggest names in Trance such as Johan Gielen, Blank & Jones, Solarstone, Rank-1, Jan Johnston, Nu-Nrg, Kyau vs Albert, 4 Strings, Ronski Speed, Mark Norman, Motorcycle, Dave Dresden, Second Sun, Ian Van Dahl, Cosmic Gate, Filo & Peri, Menno de Jong and the list goes on.

EDE ARMAND: House Music (The Electric Club
Cult, New Bomb Era, Tweak, PVD RI)
With almost 8 years behind him as a DJ, the name Ed:e Armand
has become synonymous with the term "House Music"
in South Eastern New England. His success, in Rhode Island
began, almost accidentally, as he worked part time at an entertainment
company while attending college for broadcast communications.
Knowing Armand's passion for House and electronic music, his
employer, literally, dropped him into the dj booth of one
of their biggest club accounts. With his background as a musician
in local area metal and industrial bands, Ed:e learned quicker
than most novice dj's and found himself the club's resident
dj, for their weekly "Anthem" party, for over three
and a half years. Through that time he also maintained regular
appearances at Club Starzz and The Emerald Room after-hours
clubs. Later Ed:e would move on to push house onto young clubbers
with residencies at "Home" (Zooom Lounge), "Plush"
(Ultrlaounge) and his own series of all-night parties, "Reclaiming
Paradise", "Return to Paradise" and "Electric
Paradise", where he fused underground dance music culture
with mainstream clubbing by showcasing New England's best
dj's. His guest appearances have included local radio station
Hot 106 and almost every Providence area nightclub or, lounge
and countless events, after-hour or all night parties. From
lounge to super club, Ed:e Armand plays for the room. He brings
his passion for the music and his brand of deep, funky, tech,
progressive, or tribal house to the club for one reason and

SEAN CARNAHAN
Sean Carnahan started out by spinning a wide variety
of eclectic house and trip hop music at the age of 18 in college
in Austin, TX. Spinning at campus and various house parties,
he soon began to bring it to smaller clubs in the city. His
weekly night party at a 6th street bar called "Stephanie's"
became a hot night spot in a predominantly live-music area.
At this time, Sean's versatile selection and technical ability
to drop beats behind any style of music (essentially making
any track danceable), became quite the spectacle in a well-known
live music city. Artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billy
Gibbons, and other guitar and blues legends would come visit
to hear him make funky trip hop sounding versions of many
classic blues and rock tunes. "A very unique digital
beat oriented layered blend of live and digital sounds you
actually start looking for the band.." was the way the
local student paper described his performance.
After college he moved to Houston to become a social worker,
primarily working with youth. Having established a strong
following and a wide network of support as a favorite DJ to
most promoters, DJ Sean Carnahan is now one of the more known
regional DJ's and boasts a huge following of clubbers in his
loyal network. He attributes a lot of his rise to his supporters,
such as legendary underground club owner Neil Heller, Billy
Blatty, Noah Flom, and a slew of promoters throughout the
years. Neil Heller understood Sean's seriousness about music
and approached him about doing a second room at his famous
underground Club Some in 1995. Sean started there in 1995
and remained one of the Saturday night residents for the entirety
of its existence. MORE

EJthaDJ
The party has cruised along at a decent pace. DJ’s have taken the decks, droppin their beats, while party goers stand around watching the night unfold, and even a few have worked on a few dance moves. Then suddenly, a new DJ takes the stage. Instantly the night becomes electric as the mood and overall vibe sky rockets through the roof. Enter “EJthaDJ”, (an acronym that is simply short for Eric Jean tha Disc Jockey) bursting onto the stage with an energy like no other.
EJ, (as everyone knows him by) a California native, got his introduction to the electronic music dance scene during the peak of San Francisco’s rave era towards the latter part of the 1990’s. It was during this time that EJ found himself standing amidst massive crowds, listening to a type of music that was literally lifting the party kids off their feet. A type of music that although exceptionally uplifting and beautiful, had a driving and energetic bounce to it like nothing he’d ever heard. Causing entire crowds to jump in unision, cheering loudly while clapping wildly and pumping their hands in the air. This was TRANCE at it’s finest, and INSTANTLY, EJ was in love. (more)

Dedicated, innovative, and talented are not just catch phrases when it comes to describing a dj such as Billy the Kid. As a child, Billy had an immense love for music in all its forms. Learning to play instruments such as the piano, drums, guitar, and the saxophone by age 13, he quickly gained a craving for something more. He looked for something that could not only challenge his skills but would also keep his passion for music in perspective. Unable to attend niteclubs, Billy learned about dance music the way a lot of Chicagoans did, at Chicago house parties. Fascinated by the energy of the music, he decided to turn his musical talents to the “decks”.
Buying records and expanding his knowledge, Billy fed his insatiable desire to dj as much as he could. Listening to likes of such electronic artists as Paul Oakenfold and Bad Boy Bill constantly, it’s not hard to see where his inspiration came from. After developing skills from his good friend and mentor Dj Bam Bam, Billy felt ready to showcase his ability to the public. Spinning around at local parties and events built both his confidence and know how for the industry.
After traveling the Midwest and gaining respect from many Billy found himself at the doors of B96. Billy was caught completely by surprise when he recieved the call to be a B96 Mixmaster, even-though everyone knew it was his time. Being the youngest Mixmaster ever on B96 meant Billy had to be on top of his game at all times. WBBM – FM Chicago
B96.3 hosts one of the largest and most respected mix shows in the country. With his resident mixes airing weekly on B96 radio and guest mixes abroad his dj career has grown dramatically. Being in such demand has now put Billy in a constant whirlwind of gigs in Chicago and throughout the U.S.
Today Billy has done well to start spinning across the country, thrilling crowds wherever he goes. His live performance would be considered a built blend of House and Trance combined with scratching and tricks from start to finish. The love he has for the music and the respect he receives from his peers and fans has put him in the forefront of his field. Catching a live performance from Billy will surely explain why he does what he does and why he is so respected by so many. From recently playing for companies like Spundae, MTV, Godskitchen, and Vivid Video, to spinning at elite clubs and large-scale events, you can expect even greater things in the future to come from this astoundingly young dj and producer!
Keep your eyes open people, this kid is only getting started….

DJ ABE
Dj Abe "The Assassin" got into djing around 98' working at Turntable Records influenced by some of the store regulars. He loves all styles of music which are always fit into his live sets someway or another. He works with music all day at the record store, while in the club, or while making mix cds. His favorite types of music are the real classic hip hop, actual HIP HOP, not Rap. Some people call it "old school." He releases a live hip hop series of mixdiscs every month, they are sold at the clubs and bars he plays out at and in all your local mom and pops record stores throughout Texas.
